Come to Swaziland. Friendly locals, cheaper then South Africa, not so much heavy traffic. Beautiful scenery and weather.
Thank you swazifloyd. I have a lot of friends who come from Swaziland and I have always wanted to go there. I love the Mpumalanga area. I've also dreamt of spending a few days exploring the wilderness area in the Malolotja reserve. My wife also has some extended family who own some businesses there.
About two Christmasses ago we were invited to a family function at Swaziland. I was living in Gauteng at that time and we travelled to family in Waterval-Boven where we spent a few days. On Christmas day me, my wife, and my mother-in-law travelled to the Swaziland Border. When we arrived at the border my wife took out our Passports. I had not checked them earlier and unfortunately she had packed an ancient passport of mine that had expired about 10 years earlier.
The South African Border Control would not let us through.And up until today I have not had the opportunity to return. I was SO CLOSE :-).
